Why Faithful Agnostic? Are you serious?
Agnostic comes from a Greek word meaning unknowing. That’s how I feel about religion. I’m envious of my friends who are certain of their relationship with and understanding of God. I’m much less clear on such matters than my friends. I’ve been this way since I was a child.
My use of the word Faithful comes from my involvement in and commitment to First United Methodist Church Seattle. I’m there nearly every Sunday, I sing in the choir, play music as a backup organist/pianist, and have even delivered a sermon from the pulpit.
Christianity, the religion of my youth, combined with my belief in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth informs much of my thinking and work
